Sparks and Reno Auto Repair

Took my truck there for a Transmission fluid change and coolant flush. On the way home after picking my truck up The temp gauge started to rise and did not stop till it went into the red. Pulled over engine HOT radiator cool. Called them and the service advisor would not talk to me, the girl on the phone had to relay the message that I should call a tow truck to bring it back in. I limped back stopping every couple miles till it cooled down a little. Got back there the mechanic looked at it 5 min later he brought it back to me and said he did not let it run long enough for it to cycle all the air out and had to add another Gallon of coolant. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a repair shop! An easy job not done right! I will never take anything there ever again !!

Since I've moved to reno this has been the only shop i take my cars to. They haveReasonable prices, they work fast and i don't have any complaints. So far everyone ive met that works here is very polite, punctual and professional. This is a great place for sure👍🏾👍🏾

Overall very happy with the prompt and courteous service I received and will come back for further service on automobile when needed. Parts seemed a bit on the expensive side. Biggest issue for me is that I did not receive a 10% discount for being a AAA member. I did not know about the discount until I filled out their survey and was not asked about it when I left my car. The discount would have saved me a substantial amount of money, so I'm not happy about that. BTW...these folks seem to be serious about COVID protocols, which I appreciated. There was only one person in the waiting area and he was not very observant of the protocols, but I don't expect the business to be a policeman. Added later...Have to upgrade my rating to 5 star. Within a couple of hours after completing the Sunshine survey and then posting my review on Yelp, someone from Sunshine called and apologized for not giving me the AAA discount then credited the discount back to my credit card. I really didn't expect that and as noted above, was still going to take my car back for future service. Thanks Sunshine!

I cannot say enough good things about Sunshine. The service manager, Kalii, is amazing. He was so professional, worked with me and my budget, and went above and beyond to get my car back to me in working condition again. He truly took care of me. And my car was even ready the same day! I hope to not need a mechanic anytime soon, but if I do, I know exactly where I am going. Thank you!!!

I went in for a basic oil change and it was easy to set up. Usually I would go to jiffy lube but they always ask a bunch of questions. I say, let's go with what we did last time and I'd still have to answer a ton of questions. Anyway, they fixed my clogged wiper fluid line which has been clogged for about 2 years and I didn't even have to ask them. Also very clean office area. Plus they respond with texts which I really appreciate.

Just depends on if you have a European car... understanding that vw is German, Honda European.
