Bree, You seem to have had some bad experiences in the past that formed your world view of auto repair shops before you came to our shop. I promise you that we are not the kind of shop that you described at all. Keep in mind that when you brought your car to us it had grinding and pulsated braking as you described. That’s because the brake pads and rotors were actually metal to metal, which is a very unsafe condition. At the time you dropped your car off and signed our paperwork, we did our best to explain to you what our policy is when brakes are as unsafe as yours were. You could have decided not to have the work done here. You could not drive it away at that point in that condition, because due to Nevada law we would be liable for a potentially serious accident if you were to get into one. But, another shop might have paid the tow bill to get your business. Either way, it needed to be towed. We texted you our inspection results and two estimates as to our solutions. You texted back that you wanted us to fix your brakes, without stating any of the concerns that mentioned in this review. Then, you picked the car up without mentioning any of these concerns that you’ve stated in your review. Your review actually caught us completely off guard. As the owner and the one who liabilities are directed, I cannot accept legal liability for a customer’s unsafe brakes in a vehicle if we were to have handed you the keys at that point. Funny thing is that you were quoted and received our discounted Covid hourly pricing which is significantly reduced at this time. You actually got a good deal. Very sorry to hear you felt otherwise. If there is anything I can do to make you feel better about the work we performed, please call or email and let me know. Maybe we can redeem our reputation with you on a special price on some other work in the future that you might need. I do wish you the best.
