Sparks and Reno Auto Repair

My car started smoking on my way from Sacramento to Utah and my tow driver recommended sunshine. I have never been so satisfied with an auto service store before. They were amazingly helpful, truthful, and accommodating. The owner was there and very friendly and even got me a diet coke. I only wished I lived in the area so I could go back in the future.

Got my alignment done today. Great work, fast and accurate. Friendly staff. Thank you!

I would give 10 stars if I could. These guys are amazing! On my way to burning man I had trouble with my generator/ alternator/ batteries... so I thought. They were able to squeeze me in, help me, and allow me to get out to the playa that same night... and I showed up at 4pm! I owe these guys big! And now I am back after BM getting the work done. Sitting in a comfortable chair in the lobby, using free internet, and drinking their free refreshments.Hope you dont need service, but if you do, come to these guys! Ask for Mike, or Mark. But any of the guys are awesome!

Sunshine Service has always done an excellent job on my cars. They are trustworthy and very professional. Haven't come across an problem with my car they can't solve. They did a great job with the brakes and rotors on my wife's BMW and they are one of the few auto repair shops in Reno to offer amsoil brand motor oil.. Give them a try you won't regret it.

I always have a good experience with Sunshine. I have always been disappointed with the big chain alignment services. They are honest and give support to do-it-yourselfers, and when you can't do it yourself, they are competitively priced with the big chains but have much better service.

I took my wife's car to Sunshine for brakes and rotors and they did an excellent job. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. I will definitely be using them in the future for any auto repair needs I have. Trust these guys.

Wow, excellent customer service and a good job on the repair. I really appreciated their Yelp coupon and the way they treated me in the shop. They not only fixed the alignment, but printed out several pages detailing the overall condition of my car. Fast forward a few weeks and they even called me on my cell to check up on the condition of their work! More auto businesses need to follow their lead. There's nowhere else in Reno or Sparks where I would take my car.

I bought two new tires at Tire Rack and needed them mounted + balanced as well as a 4 wheel alignment. Because I needed to get out of Reno that day, I called around tire servicing locations frantically to see if anyone would consider doing all of my requested services that particular afternoon. Mark warmly invited me to come over and mentioned that they could take care of it in 1.5 hours if I brought it in now, so I drove on over without a second thought.After I turned my keys over and signed the work agreement, I sat down in a nearby chair. The first thing I noticed was that the waiting area is really nice. They have free WiFi, a bunch of really comfortable chairs, magazines, a fridge with drinks (free for customers), and a pretty large TV with decent channel selection. (Other car service shops should take some notes here.) I was in one of the chairs for a couple of hours watching someone eat fried tarantulas on the Travel channel as I happily sipped on my complimentary drink; I completely forgot that my car was being worked on! This was an experience that left me wondering why the rest of the auto servicing places in the world don't all do this.The people here are honest. I requested a 4 wheel alignment, but when I went to pick up my keys the mechanic ended up telling me that I didn't need the alignment, so they saved me ~$50 by just charging me for the alignment check. I'm really impressed that they didn't just pocket the extra $50, and I think that this action speaks for itself. Finding honest mechanics is a pain in the butt, but at least Sunshine is a reminder that these people do exist. It's up to us Yelpers to reward them. :)Overall, this was a no brainer 5-star review. I would highly recommend coming here if you have any automotive needs; I have no doubt Mark will take good care of you.
