Sparks and Reno Auto Repair

I can't thank Kalii and Rex enough for dealing with me and my problematic car. They were accommodating and helped me out immediately even though I was a walk-in. Even though I only came in to fix my brakes, they provided a full, detailed inspection of my car, but didn't pester or try to make me spend more money on other repairs. They were straight and to the point, and I got my car back the very next day. I'm extremely happy with the service at Sunshine Service and will gladly make it my go to place should I ever need another repair.

Sunshine Service is the BEST! They take care of my cars and I trust them 100% when they say what is wrong and what needs to be done. I wouldn't take my cars anywhere else!

This is my second review and my opinion is only better since the last time. The service and the staff are top notch. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The work is excellent and the information in what needs to be done is great. Again, Great Job!

We took our new motorhome to three different certified repair shops to fix a problem with a misaligned front end including the steering wheel and we finally gave up getting it fixed because none of them could fix the problem. We went to Sunshine to install a set of higher quality shocks. We were surprised to receive a phone call from the technician who was installing the shocks because he told us that the front end needed shimming to correct a misalignment. We told him to go ahead with that repair (this was not why we had the RV in the shop). When we picked up the RV we were very pleased to see that they had also straightened the steering wheel. After driving it home we were extremely satisfied that they had fixed these nagging problems. The ride and the steering was outstanding. In addition Sunshine performed the shock installation within the time element they predicted (including the additional realignments they discovered) and the cost was very reasonable. Sunshine provided outstanding service in a friendly and efficient manner at a very reasonable cost. I have finally found the shop to keep our RV in tip top shape. Initially, there was some confusion over the appointment, but it was all quickly rectified. Kalii was very helpful and professional. Previously, I took my truck to Reno Dodge. They told me I had a bent axle and my only fix was to buy a new front axle. Kalii was able to fix the alignment issue (which was not a best axle-I'm told) with an adjustable top ball joint. The truck has never steered so beautifully. My thanks and a tip of the hat to the guys at Sunshine. They definitely will have my business in the future.

They were able to get a good alignment on my lowered BMW. They have above and beyond customer service and a very professional staff. I will recommend them to my friends.

Great bunch of guys. It's the only place in the Reno sparks area to have your semi aligned. After checking all 3 axles they actually told me my alignment was perfect, we found an issue and they charged me only the minimum for putting my truck on the rack. Don't find that any more. They did a great job replacing the failed wheel hub bearings on my SUV at 65% the cost of the GMC dealer. Great job!

This review is about my first visit to Sunshine. Here's what I think: You can probably pay less going somewhere else, but these guys have a focus on quality and appear to stand behind their work. I took my motorhome there for a simple oil change and ended up with about a $2k repair bill to replace a radiator. It's not a great feeling to go in thinking you're going to spend $200 and then realize that, no, it's more like $2,000. And they know that too. They checked over everything on my motorhome and gave me an honest assessment of what was wrong with it. They saw the cracked radiator and prioritized that above other less important repairs. In the end, I decided to have them do it because I didn't want to end up on the side of the road with my kids. They did a great job sourcing a new one on short notice, and they knew I had to get out of town quickly. They even let me sleep in my motorhome overnight while it was being repaired, which was a huge help. So, these guys have earned my trust. For me it's worth a little extra expense to have a true automotive "partner" who has my back even when it's bad news.
